RESEARCH ASSOCIATE
Dr. Archana Singh, has been associated with NRCPB since 3rd October 2000 in International Rice Genome Sequencing Project and currently working as Research Associate in International Tomato Genome Sequencing Project. She holds a commendable record all throughout her research career spanning over 15 years since 1992, when she completed her Ph.D. from Lucknow University in Biochemistry. In addition she has also done proficiency course in German in 1988. She specializes in Plant biochemistry, Molecular biology, Enzymology and Biotechnology. Dr. Singh has over 10 research publications and 25 abstracts to her credit in many of the leading National and International journals and symposia. Her leading publications include International Journals like Nature, BMC, Functional and Integrated Genomics, Molecular Genetics and Genomics, Physiological Plantarum and Journal of Plant Physiology. She also has the distinction of receiving various awards and fellowships in recognition to her valuable research contribution like Young Scientist Award from IUBMB in 1994.
