Name : Dr. (Mrs.) Rekha Kansal

Ph.D. : Kurukshetra University, Kurukshetra

Designation : Senior Scientist

Research Interests:

Working on isolation of plant genes and promoters for developing transgenic plants resistant to insect pests. Our main interest is to isolate novel genes that encode metabolic inhibitor proteins such as inhibitors of proteases, alpha amylases and lectins from indigenous legumes and cereals.
